Standard Psychology Appointment

This is a 50 minute in-person or telehealth appointment. Payment is required at the time of your appointment, which can be made by cash or card. Please contact the practice by phone, email or on the Contact Us page to book this appointment.

Gap amount is $136.65
Extended Psychology Appointment
$345.00 (from 1st July 2024)
This is a 90 minute in-person or telehealth appointment. Payment is required at the time of your appointment, which can be made by cash or card. These appointments are recommended for EMDR processing. Please contact the practice by phone, email or on the Contact Us page to book this appointment.

Medicare & Private Health Insurance Rebates
If you have a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, you can claim a Medicare rebate of $92.90. Kensington Psychology can submit your claim on your behalf and your rebate will be deposited into your nominated bank account.

Alternatively, you can claim a rebate through your private health insurance if Psychology Services are included in your Ancillary/Extras cover. It is advised that you speak to your health insurer prior to your first appointment to determine their rebate, as this varies between insurers.

Please note that you are not able to claim a rebate from both Medicare and your Private Health Insurer for the same appointment fee.
Book Your Appointments Online
Kensington Psychology offers secure and convenient online appointment booking to all of our existing clients through our Client Portal. In fact, we would encourage you to use the Client Portal so that you can book your appointments ahead of time to fit in with your schedule. Â We have options to book both in-person and telehealth appointments. You can access the Client Portal from the link on the Home page or through the link in your Appointment Confirmation email.
Our Cancellation Policy
Providing at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment helps us to keep your session costs down, maximises availability to clients, and minimises lost clinical time. Appointments missed, cancelled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice will incur the full fee which must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
